This course is designed to improve one’s ability to respond to any type of emergency they may encounter.  The OPTU Smart Response System utilizes core principles, integrated smart concepts, and essential skills that are necessary for a successful emergency response outcome.

Active Emergencies usually erupt without warning and are often over within minutes, well before first responders arrive. The OPTU system is designed to shave seconds and close this critical gap in your response time. Therefore, it is imperative that each participant knows and understands the OPTU Smart Response System which will ultimately create safer environments.

The OPTU Smart Response System is universally applicable and can be used for any type of emergency situation, such as; active shooter, bomb threat, disgruntled person, medical emergencies, civil disturbances, etc.
